Bunny got a bird's eye view of cage at Bennett's Disc Golf in Gorham. Bunny thought playing disc golf in the snow was a lot of fun, especially since he wasn't wearing cross country skis on the course.

Bringing the pink robot bunny on the trail was a whim of my then 5-year old daughter. She packed him in her backpack, along with his "bed," before an early spring hike on Douglas Mountain. My husband and I thought she packed several other items in her pack that she didn't need so the bunny seemed the least of it. We decided to just agree to let him come with us and headed to the mountain.

Then we were packing for our next hike and forgot about the bunny - but my daughter didn't. She insisted he had to come along again. Both times she sat bunny on our picnic blanket and shared her snack with him. It was pretty cute and we had a few good laughs about it. After that hike we all decided he should become our family's hiking mascot.

And that's how bunny came to share the trail with us. You can see his many outdoor adventures in the bunny photo gallery.
