Note: There's a lot of gear on this list! Use it as a guide to pick and choose to make packing up quick and easy (and to reduce the chance of forgetting something important!). What you actually pack will depend on the nature of the destination, the duration of the trip, the expected weather, personal preferences and the like. Try to go as light as possible.
