Back on the French Shore of the mainland. I think that this is Gilbert's Point.

Our new - and favorite - word of the trip, barachois (pronounced bar-a-schwah). A Barachois is a natural berm of wave-tossed rocks. This is a barachois pond at Point de Major.

Enjoyed your pictures. Haven't seen anything from Central Grove on Long Island N.S. in approx. 30 years. Bought some property there @ that time and have not been back since. Often think about the beauty of the island and wonder if I would be able to take the winters there after spending so many years in Florida. Thanks again...... Jeannine
