Heading to Seal Island, 10/6.

Approaching Seal Island.

The fisherman's bunkhouse, our home for the next 3 days.

The accomodations.

Seal Island, 10/6 through 10/8

The church's flock, hehehe.

Snowshoe Hare.

One of the multiple Peregrine Falcons on the island during our visit.

Eastern Bluebird, one of the "good" birds on our visit to Seal.

Leaving Seal Island, begrudgingly.

Yellow-rumped Warbler along the Barrington Bay Trail in Barrington Passage, back on the Mainland, 10/8. The most common landbird of the trip.

The Hawk, and Cape Sable Light in the distance, Cape Sable Island, 10/9.

Greater Yellowlegs at the Guzzle on Cape Sable Island.

This is not a joke.

I'm shocked that this was not listed as one of the cultural highlights in Blake's book. Poutine would also be a good cultural highlight, but I digress.

But alas, no UFOs, or Shags (cormorants) for that matter.

Pubnico Point, 10/10. The last day of the trip.

Pinkney's Point.

Chebogue Harbor.

Bucolic Chebogue Point.

Back where it all began, from the stern of the Cat Ferry in Yarmouth, looking at Cape Forchu Light.
