Cow chip casino, hosted by the Sabattus Mountaineers SC in Beaulieu's Field off Old Lisbon Road in Sabattus (near the Village Store). Signs will be posted showing the way. Bonfire Friday evening. Bean hole beans, burgers and dogs on Saturday. Free camping available the night before. (Rain date Aug. 17.)

The Maine Snowmobile Show, produced by the Maine Snowmobile Association, at the Augusta Civic Center. Snowmobiles, trailers, grooming equipment, lodging facilities, rentals, snowmobile clothing and gear, etc. Admission: $5 per person, children under 12 admitted free. Hours: Friday, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Exhibitor contact: Bob Meyers, 622-6983.
